Kicking It With KIC! - Dan

Dan’s interest in medical marijuana started when he became a patient in 2018. He constantly reviewed menus and researched products which led to his start in the industry at Cresco/Sunnyside in June 2019. He joined our lovely Delta 9 crew in April and has risen to become Assistant Manager thanks to his knowledge, skills and great attitude. Read more about Dan below!

1) What sparked your interest in this industry?

Just being able to see all the positive outcomes this medicine has to offer is what really sparked my interest in this industry. When I was able to go to Colorado in 2016, that is when my eyes were really opened!

2) What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that I am making a positive difference in peoples' lives, and I already love to help people!

3) What does Delta 9 PA mean to you?

Delta 9 PA is extremely rewarding to me because I was driving to Butler for this industry job and was able to transfer to a store way closer to me!

4) As a PA MMJ patient, what are your favorite strains and forms? Why?

I am more of a Sativa or Sativa dominant person from the chronic migraines I suffer from. I find that this medicine will almost completely get rid of my headaches!

5) If you could create your own strain, what would it be?

I would cross my top 3 favorite strains (Island Sweet Skunk x Golden Goat x Sour Diesel)

6) What do you hope to see in the industry as it progresses in Pennsylvania?

I hope to see more positive changes in the personal lives of patients, along with some day having everyone of legal age be able to have the opportunity for it!

7) Is there more you'd like to learn about cannabis?

I always love to learn more about cannabis!

8) What is one thing you want to help patients understand about medical marijuana or the program?

One huge thing I like patients to be aware of is that there may be some trial and error before finding the right strain that works for your body.
